God knew I would doubt Him but He is faithful anyway.
God knew I would reject Him but He chose me anyway.
He knew I would mess up over and over again but He is patient with me anyway.
God knew that I would judge others but He is compassionate towards me anyway.
He knew I would be puffed up, stubborn, and rebellious but He loves me anyway.
Jesus knew every dark thought, every selfish act. He knew I would fail to love him and others. He knew I would turn my back on him, but he died on the Cross for me anyway.
God hasn’t answered my prayers the way I wanted them answered, but I praise Him anyway.
Things aren’t the way I thought they’d be but I thank Him anyway.
When I’m weary and discouraged I will follow Him anyway.
I don’t understand pain and suffering but I trust Him anyway.
Sometimes I can’t feel Him, but I believe He is always with me anyway.
The most beautiful example of an “anyway” in the Bible is Daniel 3:17-18.
“If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God whom we serve is able to save us. He will rescue us from your power, Your Majesty. But even if he doesn’t, we want to make it clear to you, Your Majesty, that we will never serve your gods or worship the gold statue you have set up.”
Three young Jews are about to be thrown into a hot furnace. They proclaim with confidence that God will rescue them, but even if He doesn’t they will not worship another. “Even if He doesn’t” ……. we will follow God anyway. We will trust Him, praise Him, and love Him anyway!
Father, may I have this kind of “anyway” faith. To follow You, trust You, praise You, and love You no matter my circumstances.
No matter what I’m up against.
No matter what.
How true! Thanks for the reminder Marie. It reminds me of the Martina McBride Song “Anyway.” Worth listening to. Thank you lady!
Beautiful my friend!
